I have been live in carer for five years… I have recently done my certificate up-to-date for another year- Here is just a few.. Administering medication First aid Food and hygiene Manual handling End of life Dementia catheter care Stoma care Diabetes Behavioural issues And many more…… I cannot drive, however, that has never been a negative within my role. I will get on a bus with my Client or get a taxi or even suggest to my client to get into a wheelchair , If she has mobility issues and go wherever they need to go I am hard-working. I do enjoy my job and I will go above and beyond within my role. I am a very good cook and I cook fresh meals from scratch… I like drawing and other activities like singing and jigsaw which comes in handy within my role of being a carer and to interact with the client on an activity level.
