I am a friendly, positive and pro-active individual with over 10 years experience of working in care as a carer, senior carer and nurse in a wide variety of settings:including hospital, residential and nursing homes and homecare. I have experience of working with many different client groups including those with CVA,Parkinsons, MS, epilepsy and other medical issues plus, dementia, mental illness etc. I am familiar with dealing with gastrostomies, catheters etc and with pressure dressings etc and have also some knowledge of orthopaedics, cardiology and other fields. I am looking to make a return to care after a long career break to raise a family. I have kept myself up to date with online resources and nursing journals and I completed Health and Social Care 1 and 2 in 2012. I also have NVQ Level 3 in care and a certificate in basic counselling skills. I am available 9-3pm Mon to Fri and for some evenings and weekends subject to advance notice.
