I have over 25 years experience in all aspects of care of older and vulnerable people. I have worked in nursing homes, hospital, day centre and for the past twenty years, home care. I gained my SVQ3 in Social Care in 2006.I have an up to date PVG and I am also SSSC registered. I enjoy building a good working relationship with clients and their families and and to provide excellent care to each individual, respecting their privacy, dignity and choices. I am experienced in personal care, medication, meal preparation, working with other health care professionals involved in client care, documenting visits in care plans , housework, shopping, companionship, and sleepovers/overnight care. More recently I have been caring for a gentleman who required 24 hour care and covered a variety of shifts including overnight care.
