I’m a 3rd year nursing student and also a health care assistant. I’m currently taking some time away. I chose this career path as I’m passionate about caring for individuals and aim to bring happiness and comfort to everybody in my care. I’m particularly experienced in working with elderly people with dementia. I’m competent in providing personal health care (inc bed baths and pad change), clinical observations and blood sugars. As well as high cooking and cleaning skills. I have a very friendly and happy manner and always cheer my elderly patients up with my great communication skills. I always maintain privacy and dignity whilst providing high quality care and providing a listening and understanding ear for the individuals in my care. I’m looking to build a trusting professional relationship that will bring comfort and companionship to later years of a person’s life.
