I enjoy and love my work as carer in performing my duties and developing a greater understanding of the people I help. A little kindness for the elderly is often appreciated greatly, as a carer a little touch and able to put myselves into their shoes they can truly appreciate what a difference I can make. I started work as a carer since 2003 both in Nursing Home and private care. I have a NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 in social care. Part of my duty is to assume the client that they are cared for dignity and respect. Apart from personal care, I encourage and empower client to be independent and have the freedom to have choices for themselves. I take time to listen and provide support when needed. I make sure that I provide a high quality standard of care. I feel I would be well suited for the role of a carer and I would like to offer my skills and experience that I have acquired during my employment.
