Hi my name is Lorraine. I have worked in the care sector for 16 years, with experience in both nursing care and dementia care environments. I have also previously worked as a community career. I have an NVQ 2 in Health and Social care. With an extensive portfolio of work based certificates and training. I am medication trained and fully trained in moving and handling. I have experience in dysphagia, as well as assisting with nutrition and hydration (ie thickened fluids). Furthermore I have experience in delivering end of life care and performing last offices. I have been trained in challenging behaviour and carrying out personal centred domiciliary care. I am confident in working as part of a team, as well as working independently. I am fully COVID vaccinated.
