Hello. I am a mature, kind, caring and friendly person. I am hard-working and have lots of experience. I have a flexible, adaptable and common sense approach. My long history in care has given me a great deal of both knowledge and practical skills. Its very important to me to always deliver care with warmth and compassion. I have worked in the care industry assisting people of all ages with personal care i.E. getting in/out of bed, bathing/showering, toileting, dressing and preparing meals. I have experience providing small specialized procedures such catheter and convene care and using a wide variety of equipment to support mobility. I have also provided support for those who needed help with feeding. I have worked in nursing/residential homes, learning and disabled people’s homes, hospitals as well as live in care using all my skills to give great standard of care. I have Mandatory training in care and I am due to start work towards QCF in health and social care. I can prepare and cook a number of dishes as I have a certificate in cookery. I am always willing to try new recipes’ and improve my skills. In my spare time I love reading novels, watching sport on TV, going for walks and to church.
