I am an empathic and caring lady with a wide range of experience in elder care. I have cared for clients with heart failure, stenosis, strokes, dementia of various types, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral palsy, brain and spinal injuries and post operative care. I am an adaptable and proactive carer who likes to work with the family of the client and other professionals in order to deliver the best care possible. I am a traditional English cook who enjoys preparing fresh food and baking for clients and their visitors. I have a good sense of humour and a wide variety of interests both indoor and outdoor. I have experience in palliative and respite care. I am trained in health and safety and the use of slings and hoists, (NeBOSH), have an enhanced DBS and I am insured.
