I have worked as a live in carer for elderly clients who had Dementia, brain injury and heart failure. I livid with them and supported them in their daily life with whatever tasks they needed help with. This could be shopping, medication prompting, collecting medication, cooking, washing, light housework, supporting with personal care, accompanying to medical appointments, amongst other tasks. My role was to keep each client safe so they could continue to live in their own home for as long as possible.
