I have a passion for providing care for the elderly and have extensive personal experience, I would like to support individuals and families during challenging times. Caring for my grandparents has shaped my perspective and commitment to elderly care. I helped my grandmother through her journey with Alzheimer’s disease until her passing in 2015, and supported my grandfather with vascular dementia until he passed in 2021. During this time, I developed a diverse skill set that entailed personal care, administering medication, preparing meals, cleaning, shopping trips, and accompanying them to hospital appointments. These experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of the compassionate care and emotional support that elderly individuals require. Currently, I am pursuing a part-time course in Healthcare and Health Science at an open university, which further enriches my knowledge and passion for this field. I genuinely miss the joy of caring for my grandparents. It is my hope to transfer that love and dedication into helping other families who may be in need of support. I pride myself on being a loving, trustworthy, and reliable individual. It would be an honour to bring a smile to the faces of those I care for.
