Hippo Health Care will provide a range of services for service users and provide personal care as a regulated activity and support to adults aged 18-65 and the elderly (above 65) living in the Cardiff and Vale local authority areas. Hippo Health Care will be; •Providing care, active support and assistance to remain at home, while promoting and encouraging independence, maximizing and valuing everyone’s potential • Personal care needs – prompting and/or assistance with washing, undressing/dressing, help going to bed, get up and out of bed, bed doing etc… • Meal preparation – prompting and/or assisting with meal/drink selection, preparation and consumption • Assistance with household tasks- cleaning, dusting, laundry, shopping (depending on service user) • Support to access and/or participate in social/community activities – attending appointments, shopping, dining out, sitting service… • Companionship or sitting The service we provide is available by agreement, assessment outcome and is presented in each individual care/support plan: • 7 days a week, 365 days of the year Across a range of times to suit individual need, from half an hour to 24 hours a day (as specified in needs assessment)
