I am a caring and professional individual who has experience looking after people. I am able to assist them with their needs whilst also empowering them to maintain their independence. I also have a history working within the mental health services and have learnt some valuable grounding techniques that can be calming. I have also worked in a hospital with those that have dementia, I have been able to engage them in different activities and been an advocate for them to the other professionals in the hospital. These experiences have enabled me to hone my communication skills as well as helped me be more patient.
