I am Currently working as a live in carer, in my off time I am looking to continue my work be it companionship, personal care or assisting with general everyday tasks. I have 4 years of experience working in health and social care. Working with elderly individuals in various setting including nursing homes, hospitals and home care. I also have experience working with individuals with learning disabilities ranging from mild to severe. I am fully DBS checked as well as being first aid trained and moving and handling certified. I am very passionate about working holistically alongside individuals in need of additional support. I am able to provide various aspects of care from cooking,cleaning, running errands and delivering Personal care whilst upholding dignity and respect at all time. As well as care duties I am committed to getting to know the care receiver as an individual; offering as much companionship as is welcome. Whether that be Conversations over a cup of tea, a helping hand with hobbies, assisting with accessing the community or simply just an ear to listen. I aim to provide an excellent standard of care and do so with compassion and kindness.
