I am 56 years old living in Brownhills and have been working as a carer since October 2016. I initially started working for a care company where I provided support to many different clients with differing needs. I am extremely passionate about my job and consider myself to be very caring, patient and reliable. In November 2017 I was asked by a previous client's daughter if I would care for her mother who had final stage multiple sclerosis and had very complex needs. I was very fortunate to be given this opportunity until the time of her recent death. During this time I provided companionship, meal preparation, personal care, medication and worked alongside district nurses with regards to skin integrity. I have also cared for clients with dementia and general elderly care.
