I am looking for an opportunity for a part-time or full-time position in Elderly companion. For the last five years, I have been an Au Pair, whilst studying Psychological Counseling. Though I have been caring for children, the elderly are also close to my heart and so I thought branching out to caring for the elderly would be a great life experience. As Shakespeare's poem, the seven stages of man states that in many ways the elderly turn back childish ways. I did introductory training as a carer at a well established company, but after working for a few months, I realised that I wanted to do more for them just a quick meal or hoover. I actually want to connect to people and make a difference in their lives.
