I have been working in care for 2 years doing domiciliary care and love getting to know people and helping them to maintain independence living in their own environment and being their to assist them in basic care and nutrition and most importantly, companionship. It is important for me to give the best service I can so people don't feel rushed, anxious or stressed. I want people to be comfortable and strive to be friendly and helpful as well as providing what is needed. I have experience using most moving and handling equipment and incontinence with cathetar. I have experience with dementia patients and strive to keep patients as calm as possible while achieving the basic requirements in care. I have experience with Parkinson's and mental health problems. I also have experience in frail care i have training in basic first aid, Alzheimer's dementia, health and safety, moving and handling, food hygiene, care planning, infection control, urinary catheterization and person centred care. I am fully insured for care work and can produce certificate of insurance on request. Also have references should you wish to have them.
