I have worked in the care sector since leaving school. I have nvq 2 and 3 in health and social care,Level 3 palliative care, leadership and management. I have yearly training in my current job including Medication infection control, epilepsy, safeguarding, first aid, health and safety, moving and handling, food hygiene, dementia, falls, lone working. Throughout my career i have progressed from a carer to lead carer, care coordinator and home manager. The management side of things wasnt for me and i missed giving the day to day care and interaction with clients so in 2017 i got a job working in an assisted living facility which i really enjoy. I am looking at offering one to one care for clients in their own homes.
