As a mother to four children, I feel that gaining certain attributes such as patience, caring, empathic and quick thinking in challenging situations are just some of the skills I can apply as a role of a carer. I have also qualified with a Distinction in an access to midwifery course as I feel I am very medical minded, especially when administrating and taking responsibility of the medication needs. I have one years experience looking after a friends relative, attending to personal and medical needs and just being a companion by being there for them if and when needed.
