I have been working in elderly care for the past four years, most recently as a Client Care Co-Ordinator for a reputable domiciliary care provider. I have extensive experience ranging from providing stimulating companionship and running errands to complex dementia and end of life care. I was initially trained in delivering effective and compassionate care by a wonderful lady with an extensive nursing background and whose motto was 'If it isn't good enough for your own mother then it isn't good enough for anyone else's mother' and my delivery of care has always been approached with this in mind. I see each person as an individual and I am passionate about delivering person centred care, I communicate well with families as I believe this is key to delivering the most effective care and I am actively responsive to changes in physical and cognitive health.
