I am an experienced live-in carer, and my services are mainly for the elderly, who are independently mobile, not requiring personal care, though some may need supervision or prompting. Some of my clients, are those post op procedures, like Orthopaedics rehabilitating and recovering at home, so this involves with working with members of the Multidisciplinary team like, Physios, District nurses and Gp's. Most of my elderly patients , requiring permanent live-in carers, have mid to moderate dementia or memory loss. Duties also include, taking for walks, online shopping and instore shopping to top-up like milk etc, driving clients in their own car to appointments or sight seeing or for meals( outside lockdown), medication administration, cooking for the client and light housekeeping duties with other clients.
