I am currently working in a hospital setting as a health care assistant in the NHS. I have six years experience in various care roles such as, working within a care home setting, community career, school support worker and also working in supported living with challenging behaviour. I am confident & competent with all aspects of personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting and catheter/stoma care. I am fully trained in manual handling and able to use rotundas, hoist and slide sheets etc. I have completed a Care Certificate and an NVQ Level two in Health and social care. In previous roles I have also administered medications, monitored blood glucose levels, supported with domestic duties, meal preparation and supported at meal times.
