Hi my name it katie, I'm 30 years of age and a mother to 4 beautiful children. I've always had a passion for care/nursing. Watching my mum go through her cancer journey really drove me to want to help. I am caring, honest and open communication. I'm compassionate. Competent, and display empathy for all patients. My personal and professional experience help me contribute to clients' recovering and wellness which gives me a sense of pride that strengthens my commitment to this profession and currently driving me to further my career in the nursing field. I'll be attending chester University come September to study a nursing degree. I've previously worked in a care home for dementia patients, I would help them out of bed,support them to attend to their personal care and help them with their meals on a daily basis.
