I feel it is very important for elderly people to be able to remain in their own home, but may need a little help and support with every day chores, cleaning, shopping and meal preparation to do so comfortably. I have recently started to help my partners oldest brother with his cleaning and washing and found it helped me too, feel like I’m being helpful but also a bit of company for him too, I also help him with any mail he may not understand but always explain as best as I can. I love a good natter too.
