I have worked in care for 45 years and covered every aspect of care and housekeeping. I have worked in private homes covering personal care, cleaning, meal preparation,shopping and laundry. I have managed Care homes and Dementia homes after going back to college and achieving my NVQ 2,3,4,and 5 and my Registered Managers award. I work well under pressure and I am used to dealing with emergencies and depending on the emergency(fall, cuts or more serious) I would contact the family or necessary emergency service. I have a positive outlook and encourage people to be positive without being patronising . I have always enjoyed my work and would like to continue but only part time.
