I am an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant with science background seeking opportunities and further challenges in healthcare setting, passionate about looking after the elderly and general wellbeing of patients. Having to look after sick and elderly family members, during the covid-19 period fuelled my passion and empathy in looking after patients and elderly. I have come to understand that healthcare encompasses more than my Biochemistry background, as it offers opportunities for lifelong learning for the care and benefits of patients and elderly. I am willing and available to work flexible hours including early starts, late finishes and weekends. Ensuring safe and tidy premises at all times – bed making, cleaning and waste disposal. Supporting elderly and patients in healthcare and hygiene such as bed-bath, dressing, access and use of toilet facilities. Supporting elderly patients in social and recreational activities. Engaging clients in appropriate communication that will make them feel comfortable and understand care activities to be taken. Ensuring clients’ safety and dignity is protected at all times.
