Hello. I have been a Compassionate Neighbour for Princess Alice Hospice for over a year now, providing friendship, a listening ear, regular emotional & social support to people in my local community who are lonely or socially isolated due to the effects of their own or a loved one’s long term or life limiting illness. I am able to sort out medicines. I can run appointments or shopping errands. I have put myself on this website in the hope to help more vulnerable people. I had worked with young people in numerous settings for 18 years but working with the elderly is something I have always wanted to also do so a change in career. I have nursed my Nana & Great Aunt & Uncle through their illness's & then their passing. I am very compassionate, empathetic & a good listener. Love learning about other peoples lives, their culture & the history they have seen. I have a DBS with The Princess Alice Hospice.
