I am a Psychology graduate who has gained experience in the Social Care and Healthcare sectors. I have extensive experience of working with older people and young Adults.I have supported Older people by sleeping in overnight, I have assisted with everyday living and supporting to maintain independence in their own homes. I have worked in a Community Centre for Adults with physical and mental impairments and Learning difficulties. I have experience of working as a Support Worker and Learning Assistant with SEN in schools and colleges. I have experience of working with Service Users with Autism, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, medical conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease, Stroke patients, COPD, Heart Disease, Epilepsy and Service Users with sensory impairments. I have worked with clients who express difficult and challenging behaviour. I also have experience of administering medication, manual handling, use of a hoist, emergency first aid, personal care and most recently have completed tracheostomy training. I I have recently gained extensive experience of working as a live in carer, providing 24 hours live in care to clients in their own homes.
