Prior engaging this role as a care assistant I attended to my father on a personal level undertaking tasks any elderly and frail person might require and need from meal preparation to basic hygiene practices. Apart from that my field duties having been certified as a qualified care giver included. • Helping patients with toileting whether mobile or confined to bed. • Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of area• Fully aware of inclusion and diversity issues. • An understanding of the concept of confidentiality. • Basic knowledge of personal care & excellent hygiene skills. • Presenting a professional image appropriate to the working environment. • Adhering to all the Healthcare Trusts policies guidelines and procedures.
