I have been working in the community, caring for people in their own homes for 11 years, working along side another carer. i am Level 3 qualified in Health and Social care. We have looked after a large range of various people with disabilities between us, such as, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's, end of life care, catheter's, stoma bags. Ensuring that each and every person we look after has the best care, suited for them. Which respects and dignifies them and gives each of them a quality of life. We cover all the tasks being a support worker, which involves; personal care, meal preparations, companionship, shopping, domestic tasks in the household, hospital appointments. We all have up to date training, insurance and are crb checked.
