I have been within the care sector for 6 and half years. The clients I have cared for have different needs. The roles I do are shopping, cleaning, washing, ironing, personal care including hoisting and slide board, respite and palliative care duties. I have all my qualifications such as first aid, manual handling, catheter care, dementia care, risk assessment, dignity in care and safeguarding vulnerable adults. I also have my nvq level 3 in health and social care, as well as year 1 university in Psychoanalytic Studies 2:1. I am very reliable and a trustworthy individual. I make sure all my clients are treated as a whole and with dignity. I treat my clients how I would like my family and myself to be treated, I’m not just a carer but I’m their friend and someone who they can feel comfortable talking to about anything. I have two private clients and can also provide references from them if this makes you feel more comfortable with who your letting into your home and caring for you.
