I used to take care of my grandfather who had Dementia. What I did was to support and encourage him by talking to him in a slowly manner, listening to him speaking and responding in a manner that made him feel surrounded. I was not correcting him on his acts. I also made sure his bedroom tidy and safe. I also helped he was dressed properly and I sometimes feed him and bath him. I don’t have professional experience and am eager to be trained
