I have worked with the elderly since i was 16 in all environments. I took great pride when i worked in the community and helped my clients to stay at home so they could live full normal lives for as long as possible. Giving them dignity and Independence at all times. I have had Moving and Handling experience and can use hoists,standing aids etc. Dementia is very close to my heart as my Dad was diagnosed with the disease in 2008 and I helped my Mum to look after him in the latter years till sadly he had to go into a Nursing home but i continued to look after him there . I am able to work as part of a team or on my own depending on the situation. I don't drive but i have a bike that i can get to jobs on. I am very passionate about my work and who i look after.
