I have cared for my own parents at home during dementia and Alzheimer’s I am currently supporting an older lady and gentleman in their own home. I assist with dressing and washing, mobility, meal preparation and adhoc tasks. I administer medication and keep acurate and contemporaneous notes. I am caring and sensitive to peoples needs and have a sound respect and understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding which I developed during 21 years in social work. I am family oriented and so full respect and value the feelings and views of families and respect them as the experts in their own families.
