My name is Heather, 36 years old, I live in Harold wood with my husband and 4 children who are now teenagers. I started care work in 2016 working for an agency where i gained all my training. I worked there for 2 years and then went self employed. 2 of the clients from the agency asked me to be their carer and left the agency also, by 2019 i had 6 clients that i looked after for 3 more years. Due to complications during the Covid times by 2022 my clients either went into specialist care homes or sadly passed away. Late 2022 i trained in beauty therapy specialising in Manicure,Pedicure, and Gel nails but have realised my heart has always been and always will be in care work. My nan passed away last year too, she was very special to me and was always so proud that i was a carer so i'm hoping to build a client base back up and get back into the job i was born to do.
