I have experience working within care homes for those with Dementia, and more advanced needs, MS, spinal cord injury, paralysis, early stage dementia, late stage dementia and challenging behaviour. I am an extremely patient and caring person by nature, and coupled with the fact that three of my own grandparents suffered with Alzheimer's and Dementia, it is something very close to my heart. I have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care completed in 2011 and a 'Priorities for care of the dying person' course in 2018. I have an up to date DBS (2020) I would always ensure dignity is preserved no matter what stage the client in is and treat them 100% like anyone else should be treated at all times.
