I worked for a community homecare company for around 1 year from 2016 and found it to be a very rewarding job and enjoyed my time there. My duties within this role included personal care, medications, meal preparation, companionship and running errands for the service users. I have also had a great deal of experience in my personal life being a carer for my Nana and Grandad. This tasks included cleaning, taking them out to do shopping and also meals out. I feel like I have a lot of time and respect for the older generation and enjoy listening to the stories they have to tell about their lives. Currently looking for a part time role around 16-20 hours a week over 2 or 3 days.u
