There was a time the team leader told me to take a service user to the barbershop to cut his hair and come back straight to the home. On our way back to the care home the service user said he wanted to go for a walk at the park, since the team leader is not aware I’m meant to take him to the park for a walk and I had to quickly phone in the team leader and let her know that the service user would like to take a walk at the park and she said yes so I took him for a walk at the park. He was very excited and settled at the end of the day.
