Hey, I’m Gemma. I am a mum to a 13 year old boy (diagnosed with ADHD) and I have 18+ years of personal experience, looking after my nephews, niece and children of friends/family friends, also elderly relatives. I am currently a support worker, supporting a young adult with learning disabilities to live independently. I have previously worked in care, supporting elderly clients to live as independently as possible in their own homes. I am a hardworking, caring and outgoing person who is passionate about supporting individuals to live as independent as possible. I have 15 years experience in various care sectors. I also have experience supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently in their own home. I am there to help with all aspects of personal care and to assist with everyday household tasks, as well as companionship. I enjoy playing board games, listening to music, sewing and having a natter over coffee.
