Carer for Adults from 18 years and above. I have more than 5 years' experience of working with people with long term complex needs such as Neurological Conditions, Acquired Brain Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, Multiple Sclerosis, Sensory Impairments, Dementia, Mental Health Conditions, and Physical Disabilities with clinical needs such as Tracheostomy, Gastrostomy, Jejunostomy. My duties include providing personal care, domestic care and companionship. I have a small business of domiciliary care of looking after people with long term conditions. I find my work extremely rewarding. I am passionate about helping people who cannot fully support themselves. I recognise and accept diversity, so I have learnt to set aside my own beliefs at work, I do not impose my own faith on others but I adhere to the health and social care policies and standards of good practice of supporting their believes, choices and interests; what makes them happy.
