Hello, I am a 4th year medical student intercalating this year in Accident and Emergency Care. I have experience of care from being on the wards in various hospitals over the past year and this coming year. During Covid I had an active role in caring for my grandmother, who suffered with a stroke just prior to the lockdown. This involved help with cooking, cleaning and personal hygiene as well as running errands for her. I also volunteered in a care home for a year, running activities and helping resolve any queries the residents had. I am a very sociable and active individual, playing many different sports. I have a special interest in geriatric care and is something I would like to gain more experience in for my future career.
