I have a lot of experience with elderly through my work in care homes and also private work. When I was growing up in South Africa I looked after my grandparents and I was taught to have respect for my elders. I enjoy helping clients with everyday chores and forming friendships with them. This is very rewarding work for me. I try to gauge activities on a client by client basis. For example one of my clients likes to bake and is keen to teach me her skills. Some clients like to go for short walks or trips to the shops. I have a lot of experience with elderly through my work in care homes and also private work. I believe I am a very reliable person and I will always do my best for my clients. I am very adaptable and I have worked with children with behavioural problems, people with physical disabilities, people with dementia and elderly people who just need a bit of extra help in their homes.
