I feel very passionate about promoting independence and giving my clients a choice in their daily activities. I have experience supporting people with dementia, diabetes, heart disease, Uti and those recovering from CVA (Stroke) Etc. I pick up on the signs of early deterioration such as decreased appetite, weight loss or gain, increasing confusion, and the things that can indicate an underlying problem, and I would know to never to dismiss them. I have Assisted my client with feeding, bathing, and to promote the residents respect, dignity and independence I have also Administered medication, update & review care plans. . I have looked after elderly and vulnerable adults in care homes and within their own homes. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends I also love learning new languages. I speak 3 different languages English, Somalia, Amharic and I fully understand Urdu.
