I am a mature female who has a total of 7 years’ experience as a care assistant in a 61 bedroom care home. I was one of several people who worked permanent night shifts attending to the needs of the residents. These residents suffer from Dementia, Alzheimers, Challenging behaviour, stroke victims, Parkinsons, Brain injuries etc. I am currently working as a Live-in carer and I enjoy my role immensely. I am able to get on with people of all ages and backgrounds. I am perhaps more of a listener than a talker. I am very family orientated and very close to my family, brothers, and sisters etc. I get a lot of satisfaction caring for the elderly and it's very fulfilling when I see how much help I can be. I am happy with all my achievements in life. I like reading, walking in good weather, watching tv, cooking, sports especially cricket, going out occasionally for a meal, etc.
