I have years of experience caring for grandparents, and have just completed a physiotherapy placement in an Acute Care of the Elderly ward in hospital. I assisted patients with mobility, transfers and also with personal hygiene when necessary. I have experience with adults with cognitive declines such as dementia, and with physical effects such as parkinson’s disease.
