I am an individual who is compassionate and eager to work patiently with people who may not be able to handle their most personal needs and provide them accurate care. I believe that the work of a care assistant is truly rewarding from all aspects and I’m also fully aware of the challenges faced by a personal care assistant. My desire to help people live better lives and live independently helped me to volunteer with Red cross society which I have been a member since 2018 and take up training on first aid, I’ve also been able to take care of my sister’s kids and looked after an elderly aunt living with stroke, I have a good knowledge of medical terminology due to my experience working at a medical laboratory and studying microbiology in the university. I am an excellent communicator, a great team player, able to work under pressure, energetic and passionate about working as a health care assistant. I am well-versed in living up to the emotional and physical demands this work presents and I am geared up for it.
