I've been in the care industry since 2019. I worked for an agency in the social care sector until the start of 2024, and along side that I set up on my own in 2022 as a private Independent Living Assistant, a role which is ongoing. My aim/passion is to support and encourage clients to live as independently for as long as is safely and medically possible, and I provide as much or as little support as is needed. I work closely with clients' families, to ensure that the level of care is appropriate, and regularly update care plans/requirements as necessary. I have an extremely warm and likeable personality, am practical, organised, have a good sense of humour and intelligent chat. I have had several years experience of clients living with dementia, at varying stages, and am well adapted to many of the challenges that later life can present. Before working in the Care industry, I held several people facing roles, including cafe manager and events coordinator, so am well used to clients from all walks of life and experience.
