I have plenty of experience working with the elderly, alongside studying my A levels I worked part time for three years in a care home in Lincolnshire. My role here was to provide companionship, to run activities and to help prepare / serve meals. Once I moved to Sheffield for university, I only went back to the care home during the summers to work. Again this involved the same role. I graduated from the university of Sheffield this year and am having a year out before starting my masters, I will be studying speech therapy, my aim is to specialise in the elderly who have lost their speech due to strokes. I have always been so passionate about working with the elderly and love to provide help and companionship.
