I worked in an EMI nursing home for 2 years before transferring to a general nursing home where I worked as a care assistant. I then moved to Birmingham and began working for Mencap in an independant living complex. My role there was working one to one with a lady with learning disabilities. I assisted her with day to day tasks like shopping, banking, medications, cooking and personal care.
