I decided to start up my own home help service as I feel like I would make a bigger and better contribution to people in my community. I have worked in various care settings for almost 10 years, I was first introduced to care when I was 18 years old and it was something I thought i would never do, very reluctant and very scared but since that first day I've never looked back. Over the years I have gained a huge amount of experience and learnt so much which is something I love doing, I love meeting new people and learning everything about them. I have gained some qualifications such as phelbotomy, ventilation, peg feeding, traceostomy and much more. I'm currently in the middle of my NVQ level 3 which was put on hold due to being on maternity. I am a friendly, kind, considerate, passionate and committed young lady who just loves to make a difference. I have met some truely inspirational people over the years some whom I will never forget and this is why I love my work because I get taught so much not just from training and learning but from the people I care for, not just their conditions or how they like things done but life lessons.
