Hello! I am a student nurse studying in Chester and have experience working on elderly care wards. I also plan to work in elderly care once qualified. I have a natural ability to communicate effectively with elderly patients, including those with cognitive impairments such as dementia and delirium. I have training in Basic Life Support and Manual Handling and have on-the-job experience of providing personal care, companionship, administering medications, assisting with mobility needs and assisting with catheters/stomas etc. I have a calm, friendly and cheerful personality which works perfectly for caring with older people.
